Mountain Rivers
The mountain rivers hold the most special memories for me. I still get emotional when I think about their beauty and the fun our kids had swimming in them. The water was so clear you could see straight to the bottom — the stones, the sand. Some rivers were turquoise blue, others emerald green.
Our boys didn't care that the water was still very cold. They just wanted to swim and have their little adventures, over and over again. And our dog Rio went swimming for the very first time in his life.
These moments are just so precious.
This painting holds those memories — the flow of the olive green river, the glistening sun on clear waters and the feeling of cool sand beneath your bare feet.
